RSM supports organization with administration, logistics, procurements and other support services both as a component of business risk management, as well as distinct functions within a program. Below are several examples of our experiences within support services:
Example: RSM were sole sourced to provide an Operations Manager for a large management services company supporting USAID initiatives in Sudan. The RSM manager was so successful he assumed the role of the organization’s Operations Director and manages housing, vehicle fleets, travel and transportation, training, safety and security issues and other administrative and procurement functions. The role supports hiring local Sudanese staff, dealing with financial matters and reports concurrently to the client’s home office for administrative, financial and procurement issues.
Example: RSM teamed with a large NGO on a USAID FARMS project within Sudan, being responsible for writing the technical specifications for procurements; including IT, furniture, vehicles, generators, safety equipment and other materials and goods. RSM also shortlists vendors, issues RFPs and selects the providers as part of our administrative and procurements contract. Our team then inspects, administers and accounts for all materials for the life of the program, providing a highly qualified Sudanese Logistics and Administrative Manager.
Example: RSM was selected to provide administrative and support services for a large development organization awarded a multi-year USAID program within Pakistan. Our team procures all safety and security stores, supports with the selection of vendors, advises on facility construction requirements, hires and administers drivers and vehicles, as well as cooks and cleaners for the various offices and residences. As part of our logistics and administrative contract we have an expatriate manager with Pakistani administrative managers spread through 3 major cities.
