Example: RSM was engaged by a major international engineering and construction corporation to design worldwide Business Continuity Management Plans for the Corporate, Global Business Unit, Divisional and Facility levels. RSM advisors travelled with the Corporate Security Director to major facilities throughout the United States to design and test plans, as well as the Middle East to test international implementation. RSM worked with the senior leadership and crafted staff and leadership booklets, guidelines and posters. Our advisors designed tiered policies which met the complex needs of the organization. Table top and tutorials were provided to support implementation.
Example: A large development organization contracted RSM to design and implement a corporate to field crisis management structure. RSM supported the executive board in defining roles and responsibilities, both for individuals and departments. Comprehensive crisis management plans were crafted in partnership with executive board members to address corporate requirements, with self contained crisis management plans to address fraud and corruption, pandemics, kidnap and ransom, disasters, arrests, detentions and exit denials, fatality repatriation and emergency evacuations. RSM conducted several crisis table tops and supported the implementation of the policies and plans.
Example: RSM advisors helped a multi-national oil and gas corporation develop a globally focused Business Continuity Management Plan. Working with the Chief Security Officer, RSM Consulting provided Kidnap and Ransom, Pandemic, Extortion, Missing Persons, Hijacking, Arrest and Detention, and Intimidation crisis response plans, as well as a web-based travel safety training package.
Example: RSM engaged to design and implement a series of international safety and security policies and plans for a NGO group concerned about the safety of their staff and the ability for the organization to weather a crisis. RSM designed a Staff Safety and Security Booklet as well as a universally applicable Security Plan, Travel Management Plan and Evacuation Management Plan. RSM supported the executive team in creating a Crisis Management organization and offered role descriptions and responsibilities. RSM worked with the CEO and leadership to implement the policies, protocols and procedures.
Example: RSM was engaged by large NGO to design and implement a Staff Safety and Security Booklet for worldwide operations, as well as a manager’s Incident Management Plan. RSM also designed a universal Security Management Plan, Facility Management Plan, Evacuation Management Plan and other supporting protocols and policies – in 3 languages. Our advisors worked with field managers in Pakistan, Nigeria, Bolivia and other countries as well as the home office in the United States to develop educational and advisory materials to support safer and more productive operations both at home and abroad.
