RSM understands that many USAID, DFID, DoD or other donor projects have restricted budgets which do not permit a dedicated security and risk management component, regardless of the risks faced to staff or operations within a challenged or remote operating environment.
As such RSM offers a unique solution in terms of offering professionally trained and qualified logistics or administrative managers – who also have a background within risk management, security and training. As such this role can assume typical program support functions, while also providing security and training management support as a value added component. Our logistical and administrative services include:
- Project Start-Up Support: Supporting project teams in locating residence, facilities, vendors and providers so that the start-up team can focus on donor deliverables. Helping craft requirements, RFPs and other back-office support functions to expedite start-up processes.
- Logistics Management: We can provide trained and highly experienced logistics managers who will procure, track and manage assets, materials and vehicle fleets within new, remote and difficult environments.
- Administration Management: Our administrative staff can provide project support in dealing with personnel issues, recruitment, travel management and other support functions.
- Health and Safety: Our Health and Safety Staff can support unique safety considerations such as operating within artic or arid environments, dealing with safety issues in challenged environments, and managing work place violence issues.
