Executive Accompaniment & Asset Protection

Can you afford to take the risk… organizing security and safety within a commercial, political or cultural setting is a complex, dynamic and delicate process. Irrespective of the nature, size or location of an event, risks presented by amateur or professional criminals, special interest groups, disgruntled employees, hostile competitors or extremist groups present a wide spectrum of challenges to organizers and participants. As such, security is a core component of managing a successful event.

RSM supports both organizers and exhibitors in identifying risks and providing complimentary risk management policies, plans and security resources by which to navigate organizations through risks to ensure safe and productive events.

RSM has been providing security and support services for a variety of events, Annual General Meetings (AGM) and corporate functions and trade shows for over a decade. We are highly experienced in security management at events where disruption by either activists or disgruntled shareholders might jeopardize the company’s reputation, or the safety of others attending the event.

Our team will work closely with the company to conduct the risk assessment and provide advice on those security measures that need to be implemented to mitigate the risk of disruption. The types of threat which have been directed at commercial events in the past are:

  • Vandalism: spontaneous minor action
  • Petty theft: spontaneous targeting of attractive items
  • Burglary: deliberate and planned theft
  • Robbery: theft, accompanied by threats
  • Sabotage: deliberate acts of violence, targeted to cause disruption
  • Corporate espionage: Theft of technology by competitors or foreign Governments
  • Bomb attacks, or threats of attack: mainly politically motivated, but possibly by disgruntled employees or competitors
  • Personal attacks: against high profile visitors, including assassination or abduction.

RSM will assist in the coordination of the following:

  • Selection of the most secure venue which will meet the needs of the client
  • Protecting your attendees, guests, speakers and VIPs during the course of the event
  • Protecting staff and VIPs outside of the event including at hotels and whilst transiting to and from the venue
  • Establish protocols for dealing with emergencies and crisis (natural/man made)
  • Asset protection of intellectual property rights and equipment
  • Provide electronic an explosive detection teams
  • Provide trained drivers, medics and other support staff

RSM has a proven track record of providing world-class security coordination and response services. With multinational staff drawn from military, police, intelligence service and corporate security backgrounds.

RSM can provide holistic security coordination and facilitation for individuals attending the event, from pre-arrival planning and local risk assessments, developing journey management systems, and security audits of residences and event venues, to executive protection, emergency response services and evacuation planning.
